Jerry W. Ferrell OD
Dr. Ferrell received his B.S. from The Ohio State University in 1974, where he majored in Psychology and Physics. He received a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree at the New England College of Optometry in 1978.
Dr. Ferrell is an affiliate of A.O.A., Ohio Optometric Association and TLC Laser Eye Center. He has been the past president for Marion Evening Lions, Marion Jaycees, and Board of Directors for the Marion Family YMCA. He is a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church.
Dr. Ferrell was raised in Marion, OH, and graduated from Harding High School. Dr. Ferrell and his wife Karen have 3 children, Kristen, Kevin and Greg.

Matthew P. Axline OD
Dr. Axline received his B.S. from The Ohio State University in 1999, where he majored in Biology. He received a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.)degree at The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2004.
Dr. Axline is an affiliate of A.O.A., Ohio Optometric Association and TLC Laser Eye Center. He is a member of Peace Community United Church of Christ.
Dr. Axline was raised in Marion, OH, and graduated from River Valley High School. Dr. Axline and his wife Sara have 2 children, Elijah and Eyan.

D. James Schumer, M.D.
Dr. Schumer, founder and medical director of ReVision Advanced Surgery Center, is one of the Midwest's most experienced and respected LASIK, cataract and cornea surgeons. As a board certified licensed eye surgeon, ophthalmologist, and cornea specialist, Dr. Schumer has been at the forefront of vision correction for over 15 years. He specializes in offering both the latest technology in surgical options as well as the standard of care for all his patients through his evaluations and education of each patient’s personal vision goals.
A recipient of a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Ohio, Dr. Schumer completed his residency at Detroit's Henry Ford Hospital, before receiving a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Kansas' famed Hunkeler Eye Clinic.
Dr. Schumer has facilities in both Columbus (Polaris area) and Mansfield dedicated to cataract, cornea and refractive surgery. ReVision is a state-of-the-art facility where he has treated over 30,000 eyes to date. Dr. Schumer and the ReVision team are committed to improving the quality of life for our patients through education and providing advanced vision services with caring and dedicated physicians and staff. |
